To put date and clock in Dwm bar , use Xsetroot ; here's a little script as an example :

xsetroot -name "$(date '+%a %b %d %r';)"
sleep 2

For the media player , it's Ncmpc or Ncmpcpp i guess.

i hate to be the third person asking, but your irssi theme is really nice, but it's offline (again?). You should consider publishing it to irssi.org or somewhere here. (if you don't want to do that, could you just reupload it again or send it to me.. pleeease? :))
